5/11/09 - Luke 22This week we will be studying Luke 22. Dr. Jim Carroll will be leading us. We will meet from 8:00-9:00pm at Mark Daniel's house.

Upcoming Events:Sunday 5/10 - 9:45am - MCO Sunday school at the old medical college. This week will feature Dr. Bob Vasholz as he continues his series on the canonization of the Bible Monday 5/11 - 8:00-9:00pm - Bible Study at Mark Daniel's house - Luke 9 Tuesday 5/12 - 7:00am - Prayer at the Chafee House.
This is a time each week that we can gather together and pray for MCG.
It is an informal time where there is usually worship, sharing, and
small group prayer. If you're hesitant about coming, ask/e-mail/call
one of us and we'll pick you up. This really is a special time for
those who can come!

- Monergism Sermons on Luke - This is a great reformed Christian web site with a lot of free resources. A wonderful site for you personal study of scripture.
- John Piper's Sermons on Luke
- John Piper is a preacher at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis,
Minnesota. His website is another valuable resource. He offers many of
his sermons free for download, all the way back to 1980. You can listen
to them in your car, in the gym, etc...great stuff.
- Bible Gateway's Online Copy of Luke (in many translations)
- This is simply a free, fairly easy-to-use online Bible. It's offered
in many translations, although I link to the NIV, if you read another
version it's probably available.
- First Presbyterian Church of Augusta
- This is the web site of the church that several of us attend. If you
need a church home, we'd love to have you come and visit. Shoot me an e-mail if you're interested. The site gives you access to download many of the sermons from the excellent preaching staff.
- MCO of Augusta
- This is the website for Medical Campus Outreach of Augusta. If you
didn't know it, our Bible study is associated with this campus ministry
that reaches out to the Medical College of Georgia. There is an MCO
Sunday School that meets at the old Medical College building downtown (here)
at 9:45am most every Sunday, and you can download past messages on the
site. Also, there is an e-mail listserv that goes out once a week
letting you know what MCO events are going on that week and in the
immediate future. If you don't receive the e-mails and would like to
(or vice/versa) let me know.
- Christian Classics Ethereal Library - This site has scanned in copies of hundreds of classic Christian books for you to use.
- Sermon Audio - Pretty self explanatory, this site has thousands of sermons from a variety of preachers free to download.
- Bible Commentaries - Here is a link that offers several free Bible commentaries.
